What the result means
The result breaks the time between the two dates into completed calendar years, months, and remaining days, and also shows the total number of elapsed days. All calculations happen locally in your browser; no birth date is uploaded or stored.
Frequently asked questions
How is my exact age calculated?
Your age is the calendar time between your date of birth and the selected date, shown as completed years, months, and remaining days. The calculator also converts the elapsed whole days into weeks, days, hours, minutes, and seconds.
Can I calculate my age on a past or future date?
Yes. Choose Custom date and enter any valid date on or after your date of birth to see how old you were or will be on that date.
How are the months and weeks totals worked out?
Total months combine the completed calendar years and months, with any remaining days shown separately. Total weeks are counted from elapsed days, with leftover days shown after the weeks.
Are hours, minutes, and seconds exact?
They are calculated from the total number of calendar days between the selected dates, treating each day as 24 hours. They do not account for a birth time or time-zone changes.
Is my date of birth private?
Yes. The calculation happens in your browser. Your date of birth is not uploaded or stored by this calculator.
